Coronavirus and your Lissom Spa & Beauty Visit (17 March 2020)

Dear All:

As a precautionary measure against the coronavirus outbreak for the safety of our staff and customers, we temporarily closed Lissom Spa & Beauty on 8 March.

As of today, we are now restricting pre-booked appointments to a maximum of 5 customers daily to minimise the risk. As we have staff, customers and family members with low immunity, we hope you understand that we take health and safety very seriously.

In terms of Lissom's businesses approach and practices, we follow strict hygiene procedures in accordance with the New Zealand Beauty Therapy Association practices for client safety:

💧 Using a hospital grade disinfectant and disposable paper towels to wipe down all surfaces in between customers and mop the floor of the entire premises at least once daily.

💧 We practice a 3-4 step antibacterial and UV sterilisation process for tools and towels, and this will continue vigilantly.

💧 Changing bedding between every customer.

💧 Regular hand washing during each customer's visit.

💧 The use of disposable gloves, cups, and face masks on premises.

What we ask of you:

⭐️ If you have returned from overseas and/or have been in contact with someone from overseas, please do not come for an appointment for at least 2 weeks.

⭐️ If you have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms, please do not come for an appointment for at least 2 weeks.

⭐️ If you are experiencing shortness of breath, coughing, sneezing or fever, please cancel your appointment and wait until you have fully recovered before rescheduling with us again. If cancelling or rescheduling, please provide at last 24 hours' notice prior to your appointment where possible.

We are keeping on top of current news and health recommendations from the New Zealand Ministry of Health to keep our team and our guests as safe as possible, and will reopen once we are confident that there are no risks to do so.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you soon.
